#MKGlam VoxBox #InfluensterVox

This week I was given the pleasure of receiving a VoxBox from Influenster that contained Mary Kay cosmetics. I am always on the hunt for cosmetics that can look natural or glam, depending on the time of day. My box contained:
Mary Kay® Bronzing Powder
Mary Kay® Translucent Loose Powder
Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color
Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist
Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush
Mary Kay® Lash Love® Mascara
Mary Kay® Gel Eyeliner with Expandable Brush Applicator in Jet Black
Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Mango Tango

I am a skeptic of Bronzing Powders. I have seen many people walking around looking like they smeared dirt on their face. However, this is NOT the case with the Mary Kay Bronzing Powder. It went on light and kept a natural look. It was easy to apply and even better....easy to REMOVE. It is not one of those cosmetics that are a nightmare to remove at the end of the night.

Mary Kay Translucent Loose Powder is absolutely AMAZING! I have oily skin that gets a horrible shine shortly after applying makeup. The translucent powder lasted the entire day without any shine. It did not clog my pores either.

Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color is subtle. It doesn't scream, "Hey Im wearing blush!" It enhances cheekbones without being obvious. It is easy to apply.

I received the Mary Kay Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist. It is a natural color with a little bit of shimmer. My eyes really popped thanks to the sparkle. It is easy to apply. The one thing that I did not like was the difficulty of removal. It took a bit of effort to fully clean my lids at the end of the day.

I have thin lashes that are easily lost behind my glasses. The Lash Love Mascara made my lashes look thicker and longer. They stood out even behind my glasses. The downside of this mascara was the lash marks around my eyes when I blinked after applying it.

The Gel Eyeliner was a bit intimidating at first. I am not a pro at applying makeup and I was nervous about the potential of a mess. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to apply with the applicator brush. It lasts all day, even with my allergy eyes.

I received the Nourishine Lip Gloss in Mango Tango. In the tube, it looks extremely bright. Of course, that didn't seem right considering the other products were more subtle. However, when I applied it, I realized it was deceiving. Thankfully. It only slightly changes lip color. It does not feel sticky like many lip glosses do. It also doesn't rub off on my coffee cup. That is enough for me to love it!

These items were sent to me as a part of a review program called Influenster. If you are interested in joining please see the button on the right side of my page.
